Faust - my (future) virtual crow/raven

if you have been stalking me real good, you'll remember that I said I'm gonna create a new 'virtual pet' to accompany Andrea, my one and only grumpy kitteh, since I always ditch her in my book for social networking sites. /shot
and here are the sketches for it. (actually, this was made quite a long time ago, I just found it and was like 'oh! I could use this as reference for my new pet! saves my time I guess' xD)
I've been thinking of a name for it, and I think Faust has a nice sound to it for a mysterious bird like this. but the thing is, I have no idea if it should be a she or he ;w;

so, should this crow/raven be a male/female? suggestions please, anyone? pretty please? <:'3
